Peter Hook & The Light returned to Toronto to another sold out show at the Danforth Music Hall.
Like the many times Peter Hook & The Light has visited Toronto, there is no comparison to the energy and dynamic of seeing the band playing Joy Division/New Order material live. Especially, with Hooks iconic, memorable and innovative bass-lines leading the way.

Starting off with opener “Too Late”, this tour focus was on New Order and Joy Division’s respective Substance albums, a reprise of the tour he launched late last year.
Both released in the late ’80s, the Substance albums are both compilations comprising, arguably the ‘best’ known material from both bands, including Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart” and New Order’s “True Faith”.
A wealth of popular New Order material followed, “Thieves Like Us”, “The Perfect Kiss”, “Subculture”, “Shellshock”, “State of the Nation”, “Bizarre Love Triangle”, and “True Faith”.
