Founded in 1963, Whites is Canada’s oldest and largest provider of professional motion picture, television, digital media and theatrical production equipment. The company services productions of all sizes from coast to coast and has the most extensive inventory of equipment in the industry, including the very latest in technological advances.
One of the linchpins of Canada’s motion picture industry, the event also served as the first inaugural William F. White/Vilmos Zsigmond Cinematography Scholarship at the annual Whites VIP TIFF Reception.
This year’s inaugural winner was Adam Madrzyk, winning $3,000.00 towards completing his 3rd year of Film Studies at Ryerson University.

The respect, love and admiration for CEO Paul Bronfman is clearly evident. Not just with the Whites team, but with the attendance of legendary artists in attendance to celebrate Bronfman’s accomplishments, such as Academy Award Winning Director/Producer Norman Jewison and Canadian rock legend Kim Mitchell (Solo/Max Webster fame).
Never to rest on their laurels, Whites also announced the exclusive launch of a new mobile app in association with Croogloo Inc. designed to streamline and digitize the way crew information is distributed and obtained.
“Canadian clients are two-thirds of our business; ten years ago it was one-third.”
As the Canadian entertainment industry continues to grow it’s reputation internationally, William F. White International will be there to continue to support the industry for years to come.
